About the Role
You'll be working as an Associate, in the Economic Crime and Compliance team, primarily focused on our Register of Overseas Entities service and KYC gathering for the company.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Verifying and registering overseas entities with Companies House
- Completing checks on Elemental’s clients, overseas companies and individuals
- Manage pipelines of clients and active engagement to complete pipelines.
- To operate in line with the established work policies and procedures.
- Liaise and follow-up with clients for the work process, attend to enquiries and queries and collection of necessary documentation to submit applications.
- Be able to complete and review the application on the registrar of companies platform, perform follow-ups and to attend queries.
- Comply with and observe all Anti-Money Laundering policies and procedures stated in Elemental’s compliance documents.
- Ensure that business is conducted in compliance with relevant laws, rules, and regulations.
- Liaise with support and accounting department for issuance of invoice and follow up with client to ensure for timely settlement.
- Timely update of pipelines and active deals and reporting to Management team.
- Ensuring active engagement with internal and external stakeholders and ensure an excellent client experience.
- Discuss and escalate challenges with the Management team.
- Ensure compliance with internal systems, procedures and processes.
- Assist with enhancing quality of knowledge base and service delivery.
- Assist with marketing and business intelligence initiatives.
About You
You'll have the following attributes (although candidates meeting only some of the following criteria will be considered):
- Applicants should have at least a degree in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of experience within a first line compliance role.
- Excellent understanding of regulatory compliance rules and their relevant guidelines from an operational perspective.
- Excellent understanding of the verification of international corporates, Trusts and individuals.
- Ability to deliver high quality work independently and under tight reporting deadlines.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational, multi-tasking skills and commerciality skills.
- Proactive, motivated, team player and flexible
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office tools.

Remuneration
Your salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications within the range of £20,000 - £40,000 per annum.
