Software Engineer, Frontend

We are looking for a talented Frontend Software Engineer with at least 3 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance web applications that deliver an exceptional user experience. This position reports to the VP of Software Engineering in the Information Technology department.

Key Responsibilities

• Development & Coding: Write efficient and maintainable code, following best practices for software development, including test-driven development and continuous integration.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product managers to create seamless user experiences.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for systems, processes, and codebases to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
• Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices, ensuring that backend systems are secure and compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation of systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on frontend systems and Javascript technologies and mobile app development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with full-stack development and front-end technologies such as React Native, Angular, Vue.js, etc.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization.
• Experience with API development and integrating frontend applications with backend services.
• Bonus: Proficiency in latest .NET Core and C# programming language.

Telecommuting Requirements

• Must live in the Dallas Ft-Worth Metroplex, Texas, United States.
• Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separate from other living areas and provides information privacy.
• Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure.
• Must live in a location that receives an existing high-speed internet connection/service.

Location and Benefits

• This is a remote position. Our whole company works remotely. Company headquarters are in Dallas, Texas.
• Company business hours are weekdays 9-5 CST.
