Job Overview
As an NDIS Plan Manager, you will play a vital role in helping NDIS participants with management of funded supports under their NDIS Plans. You will be responsible for supporting clients with financial management, processing claims, and ensuring that their NDIS funding is optimally utilized. With your excellent communication skills and empathy, you will build strong relationships with participants, service providers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless plan management.
Job Details: Full-time or Part-time;Remuneration: $55,000 - $70,000 plus superannuation
Roles and Responsibilities
As an NDIS Plan Manager, you will be responsible for effectively managing a portfolio of NDIS plans and collaborating with participants, their families, and service providers. Your key duties will include:
· Financial Management: Oversee the financial aspects of the plan, including budgeting, payment processing and complying with NDIS guidelines.
· Participant Support:.Providing exceptional support and guidance to NDIS participants, assisting them in understanding their funding options
· Provider Coordination: Collaborate with NDIS service providers to ensure timely and accurate payment processing, resolving any financial queries or issues that may arise.
· Relationship Building: Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with NDIS participants, families, and service providers to ensure seamless communication and effective plan implementation.
· Compliance: Ensuring all internal processes and documentation comply with NDIS standards and regulations.
· Problem Solving: Addressing and resolving any issues or concerns that may arise during the plan management process, providing timely and appropriate solutions.
Qualifications and Experience
· Previous experience in NDIS plan management, support coordination, or a related role is highly desirable
· Relevant qualifications in disability services, finance, or a related field are preferred
· Knowledge of NDIS policies, guidelines, and funding processes is a strong advantage.
· Proficiency with Technology and experience in Microsoft 365 applications, Careview, Proda, Xero and a CRM’s
· Excellent organizational and time management with ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with participants and stakeholders empathetically, with a compassionate and client centred approach
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
· Attention to detail and accuracy in financial management and reporting.
Applicants must be:
· Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa
· Applicants will be subject to a probation period of six months
· National Police Records Check which will comply with the 100-point Proof of Identity Check
· Two professional reference checks, and
· Working with Children check
