Graphic Designer

At Stomble we're an exciting startup looking for a highly experienced Graphic Designer to join our team. We are a small startup bootstrapping our way forward with a group of eager engineers and designers already with a high level of ambition to build and deliver our MVP product to the world. Our mission at Stomble, is to use innovative technologies to increase economic opportunity.

We're looking for a highly skilled designer who is willing to join and/or help a small scrappy startup, who has experienced everything that we are going through, going to face and potential upcoming pitfalls by lending their advice or skills to our project. Our goal is to be a world class company, with working class knowledge and the ability to tackle all problems head-on.

Why are we looking for an experienced person?

We are opening ourselves up to someone willing donate their time, knowledge and skills to help us learn, grow and develop our incredible product from an idea into a competitive platform. We are also looking for an awesome graphics designer who can assist our efforts in designing and building our website to look professional, clean and sleek.

Key Responsibilities:

• Helping us design moving imagery for our website.
• Working collaboratively with our engineering and design teams.
• Translate strategic direction into high-quality design.
• Manage the design and uploading process for all project materials, based on best practices.
• Can create lottie animations.

The successful candidates will have:

• An intrinsic motivation to continuously learn and fill any gaps in their skills.
• Openness and willingness to think of innovative solutions to solve challenging technical problems.
• Ability to work with a variety of different disciplines and teams by clearly communicating issues, problems and solutions.
• Knowledge of building and communicating frontend and backend together and performing a demonstration to the required teams.
• Understanding of timeframes, deadlines and estimations of a given feature.
• Great communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript.

• Position is fully remote.
• This role is unpaid unfortunately.

• Must be located in Australia.
