Agency Insurance Company (AIC) is in search of a dynamic and self-starting Assistant Product Analyst.AIC is a privately held, rapidly growing, property and casualty insurance company located just south of Baltimore, MD. As an Assistant Product Analyst you will be an important member of the Product Team and will have frequent interaction with all levels within the company including the CEO. This is a role that is crucial to the success of the Company and provides the right candidate an opportunity to see the measurable results of their contributions.

Requirements

• Candidates should be self-starters able to complete a project after being given general guidance on the goals.
• Be inquisitive and interested in exploring new topics to improve products for our customers while meeting quantitative goals.
• Be willing to accept new challenges and explore new ideas.
• Have great attention to detail and organizational skills. This role will require the ability to manage tasks, track progress, and ensure data accuracy.
• Possess very strong Excel skills including the use of pivot tables and complex formulas. An existing capability to work with and write macros is preferred. An Excel exercise is part of the interview process.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• An ability to work both within a team and on your own.
• An ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment and get work done while collaborating with others.
• Three years or more of experience in a similar role is required. Strong preference given to candidates with recent property and casualty insurance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required with preference for focus on analytical or quantitative major.

Location

This position is fully remote on a regular basis. Initial training with the Company will be on-site at the headquarters office at Hanover, MD. After initial training on-site presence will be required infrequently.
