Data Analyst

Job Title: Data Analyst IILocation: RemoteDuration: 6+ months with possible extensionPayrate: $40 to $42/hr. on W2Job Description:

• Tableau (critical) – strong skills in dashboard building, automation, and customization.
• SQL – intermediate level (including window functions).
• Excel – intermediate (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, complex formulas, data finalization).
• PowerPoint – nice-to-have (executive storytelling, decks).
• Python – nice-to-have (preferred for automation and advanced analysis).
• Experience: 2–4 years in analytics, business intelligence, competitor data analysis or similar.
• Education: Relevant industry experience is more important than degree prestige.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze external competitive data from multiple vendors (scraped traffic data, market performance data, etc.).
• Focus category example: Sneakers competitors – analyzing growth, franchises, key players.
• Tableau dashboards: Maintain automation that’s already been built, plus create new dashboards as needed.
• Handle ad-hoc analysis requests from team members, who each manage a different focus category (e.g., fashion, PNA, sneakers).
