We’re looking for a highly skilled, execution-driven Marketing Specialist to join the Begin Health team and help us support healthier bellies and happier families. What you’ll do

  • Email Marketing (Your Main Arena): You’ll be responsible for end-to-end ownership of all email campaigns and lifecycle flows in Klaviyo. You’ll write and design beautiful, engaging emails that drive clicks, conversions, and revenue. You’ll also build advanced segmentation, maintain strong deliverability practices, and develop automated flows that support growth and retention.
  • Creative & Content Production: You’ll write sharp, conversion-focused copy for emails, social, and promotional assets, while also designing clean, on-brand visuals and layouts. You should be able to independently create polished creative that reflects our brand voice and elevates customer experience across every touchpoint.
  • Performance, Testing & Optimization: You’ll run A/B tests at both the campaign and flow level, analyze data from Klaviyo, Shopify, and internal dashboards, and quickly pull insights that guide your next iteration. Your goal is to consistently improve open rates, click rates, revenue per send, and overall ROI through fast, data-driven experimentation.
  • Social + UGC Pipeline Management: You’ll schedule and publish social content that aligns with brand priorities, while managing ongoing relationships with creators, providers, and parents producing UGC. You’ll ensure a steady pipeline of fresh, high-quality content each month and maintain strong brand consistency across channels.
  • Reporting & Accountability: You’ll deliver clear and accurate weekly and monthly reporting across email, social, and owned content. You’ll proactively highlight wins, losses, and opportunities, offering actionable recommendations rather than just surface-level metrics.

Qualifications

  • 2–4+ years of hands-on experience in DTC marketing, with a strong focus on email, Shopify execution, creative production, and performance optimization.
  • Advanced Klaviyo skills, including campaign and flow building, segmentation, deliverability best practices, and A/B testing.
  • Experience with paid social creative, including understanding how UGC and organic content translate into high-performing ads.
  • Proficiency in Shopify, with the ability to update pages, support promotions, and navigate more functionality confidently.
  • Strong creative and design ability, capable of independently producing polished, on-brand email and social assets with clean layout instincts and attention to detail.
  • Data fluency, including an understanding of CTR, CVR, RPS, deliverability, list health, and attribution across Klaviyo and Shopify.
  • Performance-driven mindset, with the ability to run tests, interpret results, and iterate quickly to improve key metrics.
  • Relentless curiosity, with a habit of asking why things work, digging into data, exploring new ideas, and continuously improving both creative and performance.

Nice to haves

  • Figma, Canva, & Adobe design expertise, enabling higher-fidelity creative and more advanced visual asset production.
  • Basic HTML/CSS skills for troubleshooting email layouts and making small front-end adjustments when needed.
  • Background in parenting, DTC wellness, or supplement brands, providing familiarity with the audience, tone, and regulatory considerations.
