About the Role

We’re looking for a Volunteer HR Specialist to support our growing community. You’ll be part of the engine that helps talented people find their place in early-stage teams — identifying, screening, and matching candidates with exciting startup roles.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future volunteer roles
• Review applications and conduct initial screening interviews to assess fit and motivation
• Coordinate and schedule interviews with relevant team leads
• Clearly communicate role expectations, project scope, and team culture to applicants
• Update and manage candidate records and track recruitment progress
• Act as the primary point of contact for candidate questions and communications

What We’re Looking For

• Some experience (or strong interest) in HR, recruitment, or talent operations
• Confident talking to people and assessing potential
• Organised, responsive, and good at follow-through
• Able to commit around 8 hours per week remotely
• Passion for startups, social impact, or community-driven initiatives
