Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst Level 1 to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience with the Microsoft BI stack including MS SQL, SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, and SSAS, as well as exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools such as BigQuery, Looker, and Looker Studio. This entry-level role is designed for individuals seeking to expand their expertise in enterprise-scale analytics, reporting, and data integration. Role Requirements: Data Analysis & Reporting

• Develop and maintain standardized dashboards and reports utilizing visualization platforms such as Power BI, SSRS, Looker and Looker Studio.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to extract, clean, and analyze data utilizing platforms such as MS SQL and BigQuery.
• Troubleshoot data issues, validate result sets, and perform unit testing to ensure accuracy and reliability of reporting outputs.
• Analyze large-scale enterprise datasets containing millions to billions of rows, ensuring query performance and efficiency.

Data Integration & ETL/ELT

• Assist in the design and management of ETL/ELT workflows utilizing tools such as SSIS, Dataflow and Dataproc.
• Collaborate with data engineers, senior analysts, senior BI developers, and other business partners to ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency.

Business Support

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand and implement reporting requirements and deliver analytical solutions.
• Translate business needs into clear technical specifications and actionable outcomes.
• Provide accurate effort estimates for assigned projects and tasks, and track progress to completion.
• Communicate project results, findings, and deliverables effectively to stakeholders.
• Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements for business activities within the scope of responsibility.

Documentation & Maintenance

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for processes, reports, and data models to ensure reproducibility, transparency, and consistency.
• Perform regular data validation and accuracy checks to maintain reliability of BI deliverables.

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience writing SQL queries and procedures (T-SQL, BigQuery SQL).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with Power BI, SSRS, Looker, or Looker Studio.
• Familiarity with SSMS, SSIS, SSAS, and BigQuery.
• Foundational understanding of data modeling concepts (e.g., star schema, normalization).
• Experience supporting HEDIS, Risk Adjustment, Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, or HIX client data.
• Broad understanding of the healthcare industry, including terminology, regulatory frameworks, and data workflows.
