Business Development Manager – Senior Role

CHR Heat Pumps is a fast-growing Australian heat pump manufacturer, delivering high-performance pool heating technology backed by four years of R&D, a fully operational factory, and a strong national support structure.

We are now seeking a senior, mature (35+) Business Development Manager with deep industry experience to spearhead national growth. This is a remote role, with occasional visits to our Glen Waverley factory for meetings, product training, and technical support.

About the Role

• Lead the national sales and business development strategy
• Build and grow strong relationships with pool builders, dealers, and commercial partners
• Drive new business across B2B and B2C markets
• Conduct product presentations and onsite demonstrations as required
• Work closely with technical and engineering teams to support client needs
• Represent CHR with professionalism, technical confidence, and maturity

What You Bring

• 2+ years experience in selling pool heating, heat pumps, or pool equipment (pumps, filters, automation, chlorinators, HVAC)
• Existing pool builder relationships (highly regarded)
• Strong technical understanding of heating/filtration or related systems
• Proven B2B/B2C sales success, especially in high-value products
• Senior presence, strong communication skills, and a hunter mentality
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment

Salary & Benefits

• Base salary from $120,000, depending on experience
• Higher salary available for candidates with strong industry networks or advanced technical expertise
• Remote role with flexibility and autonomy
