Our Charlotte-based agency client is seeking a Business Development Representative to join its national sales team full-time. This role focuses on acquiring new business through lead engagement, persuasive pitching, and relationship building. You'll represent the agency at events, manage inbound and outbound leads, and conduct client meetings. This is a remote position, outside of meetings and event travel, to be considered you MUST live in one of the following states: California, Colorado, Nevada, or Utah. This is a salaried position with a competitive commission structure as well. Business Development Representative Responsibilities

  • Actively pursue, qualify, and follow up on leads through multiple methods
  • Conduct discovery calls and deliver compelling sales presentations/pitches
  • Convert stalled opportunities through strategic re-engagement campaigns
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and prospect information in their CRM
  • Travel 4-5 times per quarter for in-person client meetings, industry events, conferences, and other networking events
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales and marketing efforts

Business Development Representative Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience in sales or business development
  • Experience working with a CRM like HubSpot or Salesforce
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable with travel and client-facing interactions
  • Previous experience with SEO auditing tools is a plus
  • Passionate about digital marketing
