Position: Economics Expert (PhD)

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $70–$90/hour

Location: Remote

Duration: 1–2 months (extendable)

Commitment: ~20 hrs/week (flexible up to 40 hrs/week)

Role Responsibilities (Training support will be provided)

• Create and evaluate complex problems across microeconomics, macroeconomics, game theory, econometrics, and behavioral economics.
• Assess AI-generated responses for accuracy, logical consistency, and domain relevance.
• Provide clear, constructive written feedback on economics problem sets and solutions.
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and engineers to refine and improve model performance.
• Maintain academic rigor and precision in all economics content used for AI training and evaluation.

Requirements

• PhD in Economics from a top-tier university.
• Deep subject-matter expertise across multiple subfields of economics.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, logical reasoning, and analytical rigor.
• Prior teaching, research, or publication experience is a plus.
• Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks not supported).
