About The Opportunity Dayforce is a global leader in Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions, offering innovative technology to manage the full employee lifecycle. We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Business Development Representative for the UK Enterprise. The BDR plays a key role in expanding Dayforce’s customer base. You will be responsible for generating Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) from scratch and initiating conversations with decision-makers to drive meetings or event attendance. This is a regionally focused, highly proactive role with an emphasis on outbound cold calling, email outreach, webinars, social media engagement, and event participation. As the first point of contact with prospects, your success is vital in helping the Dayforce sales team secure key meetings. In addition to building relationships and driving sales opportunities, you’ll leverage CRM systems and marketing automation tools to streamline processes and track activity. Occasional travel for corporate and team meetings may be required. What You'll Get To Do

  • Build rapport and nurture relationships via phone, LinkedIn, and email using a multi-touch, long-term approach.
  • Collaborate with 3-4 Sales Representatives to strategically target accounts and uncover opportunities for Dayforce’s solutions.
  • Manage daily tasks including calendar management, campaigns, and follow-ups to ensure timely engagement with prospects.
  • Continuously assess and adjust prospecting strategies for optimal performance and success.
  • Utilize CRM tools, social media, and automation systems to maximize lead generation and market share.
  • Leverage Dayforce’s marketing automation tool, Marketo, to support lead generation campaigns, events, and webinars.
  • Follow standard operating procedures for capturing and documenting prospect information in Salesforce.com.
  • Stay up to date with Dayforce’s solutions and effectively communicate our value proposition to prospects.

Skills And Experience We Value

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Strong skills in prospecting, needs analysis, and developing sales opportunities.
  • Proven ability to perform against a territory plan and achieve goals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com Lightning or similar CRM systems.
  • Ability to work independently and succeed in a virtual, work-from-home setting.
  • A highly adaptable, driven, and goal-oriented attitude.

What Would Make You Really Stand Out

  • 2-4 years of phone prospecting experience in a B2B/B2C environment.
  • Experience in payroll/HRIS direct selling is a strong plus.
  • Prior experience working with or selling to senior HR or C-level executives.
  • Previous phone sales/appointment setting experience
