Job Description

Posted on: December 2, 2025

This business treats their team and culture with the same care and intention as the product they’re building. They want this to be the place where you do your best, most fulfilling work.

We're re-imagining regulatory and workflow technology - building an intuitive, high-trust onboarding product that transforms complex compliance operations into seamless, user-friendly experiences.

Our frontend sits where precision meets usability, serving analysts, onboarding teams, and risk managers who rely on clear, dependable workflows to make critical decisions.

They're backed by top-tier investors and experienced operators across the tech industry, and we work with well-known enterprise clients across financial services, marketplaces, and digital platforms.

The stack

Current stack includes: React, TypeScript, Node.js, Event Sourcing, Express, Postgres, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, AWS.What you’ll be doing

  • Building clean, elegant, and responsive UIs with React and TypeScript, optimised for performance across browsers and devices
  • Owning the frontend architecture: shaping reusable patterns, component APIs, and long-term design system thinking
  • Championing quality and rigour in code, accessibility, testing, and user experience — our users need clarity and trust at every interaction
  • Creating a great developer experience on the frontend: designing abstractions and internal tooling that make building interfaces safe, fast, and joyful
  • Collaborating deeply with design and product — engineers here don’t just translate Figma; you’ll co-create solutions, motion, and interaction patterns that define the product
  • Mentoring and coaching teammates, raising the bar for craft and helping shape the team’s technical culture
  • Helping shape how we work — we’re lean on ceremony (no daily stand-ups, no planning poker) but intentional about collaboration and decision-making

What we’re looking for

  • Craft and systems thinking — you see interfaces not just as screens but as part of a larger system of workflows, abstractions, and patterns
  • A strong product sense — you care about usability, clarity, and co-owning the product direction with design
  • A collaborator who values clarity, kindness, and thoughtful communication
  • Comfort with autonomy — you thrive in an environment with high trust, low ceremony, and high expectations
  • Curiosity, ambition, and kindness — we’re building something complex and important and want to enjoy the process together

Not required, but nice to have

  • Experience with performance tuning, animations, or design systems
  • Experience working on tools for technical or operational users
  • Strong opinions on component APIs and UI architecture (loosely held, open to better ideas)

Why join

  • Shape a product from the ground up — we’re solving foundational problems in a space that demands quality, clarity, and trust
  • Small by design — we’re not aiming for a huge engineering organisation; you’ll join a lean, senior team where your impact is immediate and visible
  • High autonomy, low ceremony — we cut out unnecessary process so we can focus on building and thinking deeply
  • Work with exceptional peers — join a group of independent thinkers who value clarity, craft, and collaboration
