A leading organisation within the Workday ecosystem is seeking an experienced Workday Time Tracking Consultant to join its expanding Cloud Optimisation practice. With a growing client base across EMEA, this role offers the opportunity to work with an established post-deployment team delivering high-impact Workday solutions.
This is a home-based position with travel to client sites of up to 25%.
The Opportunity
As a Workday Time Tracking Consultant, you will take ownership of delivering high-quality post-go-live services to a diverse portfolio of clients. You’ll be involved in the design, configuration, optimisation, and ongoing support of Workday solutions, collaborating both independently and within a wider functional team.
You will also act as a subject matter expert in the Workday product suite, deepening your expertise in Time Tracking (and ideally Absence), while contributing to the internal capability of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver successful post-deployment support and optimisation services for Workday Time Tracking.
- Manage a personal workload confidently, working autonomously as well as within a team.
- Engage directly with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into effective system enhancements.
- Configure, test, and refine the Workday solution with support from senior functional consultants.
- Act as a point of reference within your area of expertise, sharing knowledge, mentoring newer colleagues, and supporting capability development.
- Build strong relationships with clients, helping them maximise the value of their Workday investment.
- Maintain strong internal relationships across the cloud optimisation and functional consulting teams.
- Stay up to date with HR technology trends and bring fresh, innovative insights to client engagements.
- Follow established methodologies and contribute to overall practice performance by delivering consistently high-quality work across multiple client engagements.
Skills & Experience
- Fluent English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Certified in Workday Time Tracking (Absence certification preferred, but not essential).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting Workday Time Tracking in a post-go-live environment.
- Strong analytical and functional skills, with hands-on configuration experience.
- Previous exposure to HR system enhancements and maintenance activities.
- Consulting experience in HR processes is advantageous.
- Confident presenter with strong facilitation skills.
- Effective stakeholder management capabilities.
- Demonstrated collaboration and contribution within previous teams.
- Experience handling multiple concurrent clients is highly desirable.
- Comfortable working in virtual and geographically distributed teams.
- High integrity, strong self-management, and proactive work habits.
