About the Role

Good Boy Vodka is one of the fastest growing RTD brands in the world, and much of this success can be contributed to a strong and organic social media strategy. As the company has grown and moved into 40+ states, the marketing team will need an additional creator to support the Social Media Marketing Manager role, with a heavy focus on our west coast market. This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing.

Good Boy Vodka is seeking a skilled Content Strategist & Creator to help fuel the next phase of our brand growth. This is not a sit-behind-a-desk role. This person lives where culture happens: on social, at events out in the market, in real moments, and knows how to capture, create, and deploy content quickly and effectively.

We believe the best content feels native, timely, and human, sometimes not overly polished or over-strategized, but content being created and tailored with individual channels in mind is crucial. This role blends strategy with hands-on execution and is ideal for someone who can spot an idea, bring it to life, and ship it.

Objectives of This Role

  • Drive consumer engagement & brand affinity through standout, platform-native content
  • Strengthen Good Boy Vodka’s omni-channel presence across social, email, and web
  • Translate brand strategy into real, executable content moments
  • Identify trends, cultural moments, and opportunities to create relevance in real time
  • Support the SMM with consistent, organized content delivery
  • Lead community management on all platforms by responding to comments and messages in a timely manner

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Ideation

  • Develop concepts aligned with brand priorities, campaigns, & seasonal moments
  • Study competitor and category leaders and share insights
  • Understand what performs across platforms and apply learnings quickly

Content Creation & Execution (Core Focus)

  • Capture content at events, activations, tastings, etc. (monthly travel required)
  • Concept, shoot, and edit photography, Instagram Reels, TikTok content, and X posts
  • Own the execution of a piece of content or a photoshoot from idea to delivery
  • Work quickly while maintaining brand voice and quality

Collaboration & Deployment

  • Partner with the Social Media Marketing Manager to deliver content efficiently
  • Collaborate with marketing, events, and sales teams
  • Ensure content can be repurposed across channels

Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in content creation, social, or brand marketing
  • Strong understanding of platform-specific content strategies
  • Hands-on photography and video editing experience
  • Highly organized and self-directed
  • Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Portfolio or social handle showcasing work
  • Experience with email or website content preferred
  • Beverage, lifestyle, or CPG brand experience
  • Comfort in fast-paced environments
