Primary Job Functions
The Data Analyst will be a member of the Data Operations team reporting to the Senior Data Analyst. As a member of the team deploying and configuring CoreTechs® for our clients, the Data Analyst will serve as the subject matter expert for healthcare data, especially for the standard data requirements for CoreTechs® solutions.
Essential Job Functions
- Demonstrate Subject Matter Expertise for healthcare data and CoreTechs® standard data in Gray Matter Analytics
- Map client and other source data including payer claims and clinical data to CoreTechs® standardsIdentify and report data quality using Gray Matter Analytics tools and exploratory analysis
- Create and maintain data pipelines to transform customer data and produce analytics and insights for Gray Matter products
- Support customer facing teams on servicing data analytics questions originating from end users
- Collaborate with product and data analytics foundation development and enhancements
Qualifications & Desired Skills
- Minimum of three years of experience in a data and analytics role in healthcare
- Proficiency querying and manipulating data using SQL or Python
- Experience working in business intelligence or data warehousing projects in a healthcare setting
- Understanding of healthcare data, including ICD-10 and HCPCS/CPT
- Experience with data visualization tools and presenting insights
- Knowledge of data management applications
- Experience working in cloud environments and using clous data technologies
- Proficiency in modeling of data sources to enable business requirements, mapping them to standard data structures and integrating data for analysis
- Proficiency in sifting through data to extract pertinent insights for interpretation and reporting
- Proficiency in identifying and addressing data quality issues
- Experience working in administrative or clinical improvement initiatives
- Experience with healthcare measures
