Job Description

Posted on: September 26, 2025

We are looking for a fully remote Software Business Analyst (with regular availability during U.S. Eastern Time business hours) to join our software development team. This role is essential in translating business priorities into actionable deliverables, ensuring our development teams build solutions that meet customer expectations and advance our product strategy. The analyst will work across multiple Agile teams, helping coordinate priorities and ensuring consistency in how requirements are captured, documented, and delivered.

Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with the Product and Engineering teams to translate roadmap priorities into actionable development work.

• Translate large, complex product priorities into clear, actionable user stories. Write Epics, Stories, and Tasks in Jira.

• Collaborate with multiple Agile teams to refine requirements, support sprint planning, and provide clarification throughout development.

• Propose solutions or improvements based on quantitative analysis, qualitative analysis, and user requirements.

• Create wireframes or low fidelity UI mockups to illustrate new functionality. Work closely with UX designers on larger projects.

• Produce excellent written documentation (use cases, user and process flows, functional specifications, definition of done, acceptance criteria) to accelerate delivery of business value.

• Validate deliverables to ensure alignment with customer needs and product goals.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience with full stack Agile software development in a role such as Business Analyst, Product Manager, Project Manager, QA Analyst, or Software Developer.

• Proven ability to break down complex priorities into actionable user stories that drive development progress.

• Exceptional written communication skills, with a track record of creating documentation that speeds up delivery of business value.

• Strong understanding of Agile/SCRUM methodology and cross-team collaboration.

• Proficient with Jira, Confluence, building flowcharts, and using project management tools.

• Ask insightful questions, understand systems and processes, and reason through edge cases.

• Highly motivated with ability to work independently in a remote setting

• Experience in financial services, trade credit, insurance, or lending (preferred).

• This is a remote role; candidates must be able to work hours that include 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
