Java Engineer

The Role

• Be the internal Backend architecture expert, driving standards
• Improve the quality of internal software by reshaping legacy areas
• Own reliability and performance by identifying bugs & issues and improving the company UX
• Mentor junior engineers, leading by example and sharing best practice
• Collaborate with product & design teams to ensure requirements are clear and executed successfully
• Be a clear and concise communicator, essential for a remote position across multiple time zones
  
  

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5-10+ years Java development & backend engineering experience
• Expertise in Java and experience with at least one additional backend and frontend language
• Experience improving legacy codebases
• Microservices architecture knowledge and expertise
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes & AWS
