We're looking for an enthusiastic eLearning Developer to join our growing Learning & Development team and help shape the future of digital learning across our organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects that support colleagues' development and contribute to organisational success. As an eLearning Developer, you'll play a vital role in designing, building and enhancing engaging digital and blended learning solutions. Working alongside Instructional Designers, subject matter experts and learning professionals, you'll bring learning concepts to life through interactive, visually engaging and accessible content. From creating interactive eLearning modules and videos to developing animations, quizzes and gamified learning experiences, you'll help deliver high-quality learning that empowers people to learn, grow and thrive. - Developing engaging and interactive digital learning solutions, including eLearning modules, microlearning, videos, animations and virtual learning experiences.
- Building content using industry-leading tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, Rise and Camtasia.
- Creating multimedia assets including graphics, icons, infographics, animations, quizzes and screen recordings.
- Collaborating with instructional designers and subject matter experts to transform storyboards and learning objectives into impactful learning experiences.
- Ensuring all learning content is visually engaging, accessible and aligned to brand standards.
- Applying accessibility best practice and WCAG AA principles throughout the development process.
- Testing digital learning content across devices and platforms to ensure a seamless learner experience.
- Uploading and maintaining learning content within Learning Management Systems using SCORM and xAPI standards.
- Supporting quality assurance processes and continuously improving content through learner and stakeholder feedback.
Essential Experience & Skills ✔ Experience or qualifications in Learning & Development, Digital Media, Multimedia Production, Graphic Design, Instructional Design or a related field. Equivalent experience and a strong portfolio will also be considered. ✔ Working knowledge of eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise. ✔ Strong visual design skills with excellent attention to detail. ✔ Understanding of accessibility principles and WCAG standards. ✔ Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. ✔ Strong communication and collaboration skills. ✔ A proactive mindset, willingness to learn and a passion for creating exceptional digital learning experiences. Desirable
- Experience with video editing, animation and multimedia production tools such as Vyond, Camtasia, Clipchamp or After Effects.
- Knowledge of SCORM, xAPI and Learning Management Systems.
- Familiarity with digital collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Trello or Miro.
- Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Basic HTML5/CSS knowledge.
