About the Role

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will design, build, scale, and monitor backend services that power core ordering workflows and operational systems. You’ll work across distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and data stores to ensure high reliability, performance, and seamless order transmission for our customers.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-quality backend services and components using C#/.NET.
• Contribute to architectural decision-making around distributed systems, microservices, and high-availability services.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders to translate customer needs into robust technical solutions.
• Proactively monitor, optimize, and improve system reliability and performance across production environments.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Document systems, patterns, and best practices to help elevate team knowledge and onboarding efficiency.
• Champion engineering excellence, automated testing, CI/CD best practices, and continuous improvement across the team.

About You:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong expertise in C#, .NET, and object-oriented design.
• Experience architecting and developing end-to-end flows within distributed, service-oriented, or microservices architectures.
• Strong understanding of testing practices, including writing unit tests and building testable code.
• Proven ability to solve complex technical problems with thoughtful, scalable solutions.
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills; ability to challenge assumptions and incorporate diverse perspectives.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Consistently delivers high-quality work, meets commitments, and contributes positively to team culture.
