Landing Page Specialist - Host Guest

About Host Guest

Host Guest is a growing Georgia-based startup that connects international and out-of-state students with verified host families across the United States. Our mission is to make every student’s arrival experience safe, meaningful, and affordable while giving local families a trusted way to open their homes, share culture, and earn income.

After successfully launching our MVP in Oct 2025, Host Guest is entering a critical growth phase. The next goal is to build traction through digital visibility, targeted marketing, and seamless conversion funnels that drive verified host sign-ups and student interest.

Role Summary

We are seeking a Landing Page Specialist who will own the design, optimization, and performance of all landing pages used in Host Guest’s marketing campaigns. This person will be responsible for translating marketing goals into high-converting, visually clear, and user-friendly landing pages that capture leads for hosts, students, and partners.

The Landing Page Specialist will collaborate with marketing, design, and web development teams to plan and test page layouts, improve copy flow, and ensure every campaign has a measurable outcome. This role combines creative design sense, analytical thinking, and a strong understanding of user psychology and conversion funnels.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage landing pages that support marketing campaigns for host recruitment, student outreach, and university partnerships.

• Use tools such as Webflow, Figma, or WordPress to create fast, responsive pages that align with Host Guest’s brand identity.

• Optimize page layouts, headlines, CTAs, and lead forms to maximize conversions.

• Work with marketing to integrate tracking tools (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and form tracking).

• A/B test page variations and report on performance metrics such as click-through rate, bounce rate, and conversion rate.

• Collaborate with the content team to refine copy, structure, and storytelling for clarity and emotional appeal.

• Ensure consistent brand voice, design language, and mobile optimization across all pages.

• Manage the landing page library, organize templates, and document best practices for reuse in future campaigns.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Minimum conversion rate of 15 percent on lead capture forms.

• Reduction in page bounce rate below 40 percent.

• Weekly testing and performance reports shared with marketing leadership.

• Improved lead quality based on Sales Associate feedback.

• Delivery of all campaign pages on time and within brand standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in landing page design, digital marketing, or growth optimization.

• Strong knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO) and UX principles.

• Proficiency in design or builder tools such as Webflow, WordPress, Figma, or Unbounce.

• Familiarity with analytics platforms like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Meta Ads Manager.

• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design best practices.

• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and translate marketing goals into actionable design decisions.

• Excellent written English and strong attention to detail.

• Prior experience working with a startup, SaaS, or marketing agency preferred.

Compensation and Terms

• Contract rate: $1,000–$1,500 per month based on experience and project scope.

• Part-time, 15-20h remote position with flexible working hours.

• Initial three-month contract with potential extension or transition to Growth Specialist role.

• Open to U.S.-based and international candidates who can overlap at least four hours with Eastern Time.

Training and Support

The Landing Page Specialist will receive access to brand guidelines, product demos, and campaign briefs to understand Host Guest’s mission and target audience. They will work closely with the marketing manager, content creator, and sales team to align pages with messaging goals. Weekly check-ins and monthly performance reviews will ensure clear feedback and measurable improvement.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate blends creativity with data-driven execution. They are curious about user behavior, confident using analytics, and comfortable experimenting with design and copy to drive measurable results. They thrive in a startup setting where autonomy, ownership, and quick iteration matter.

Why Join Host Guest

Joining Host Guest means contributing to a mission that helps students find more than housing, it helps them find belonging. You will work at the intersection of marketing, design, and product, shaping how people first experience our brand online. Your work will directly influence how families and students connect, trust, and take action.

This is an opportunity to build conversion systems from the ground up and leave your creative and technical mark on a startup that values impact, innovation, and purpose.
