We’re hiring on behalf of a well-funded AI-first startup building the next generation of LLM-powered agents that are transforming enterprise customer experience. They are pioneering empathetic, agentic workflows across chat, voice, and messaging channels.

They’re now looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their small, high-calibre team. If you’re excited by AI-powered products, high ownership, and working on meaningful real-world problems.

Key Responsibilities

🧱 Full-Stack Product Engineering

• Design, build, and maintain scalable features across the frontend, backend, and infrastructure
• Contribute to an AI-first platform integrating large language models (LLMs) into enterprise workflows
• Develop and optimise performant, well-tested microservices using Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL
• Build intuitive UIs in React, collaborating closely with Design and Product

🚀 Platform, Scale & Infrastructure

• Optimise APIs and system architecture for speed, security, and scale
• Take a DevOps-first approach to AWS (Fargate, Lambda, EC2, SQS, etc.)
• Contribute to continuous delivery with GitHub Actions and modern CI/CD practices
• Improve developer tooling and observability across the stack

🤝 Team & Culture

• Collaborate closely with other engineers, product managers, and leadership
• Participate in shaping the product roadmap and engineering direction
• Share knowledge, mentor others, and help foster a fast, pragmatic, and open team environment

About You

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, ideally across both frontend and backend (30/70 or 70/30 is fine 😀)
• Strong in Node.js, TypeScript, Express, and React
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and PostgreSQL/Redis
• Product mindset, you think in terms of outcomes, not just features
• Comfortable in fast-paced, early-stage startup environments
• Experience in building microservices and distributed systems
• Strong communicator with a collaborative, solution-focused approach

Bonus Experience

• Exposure to LLM APIs, AI tooling, or NLP-powered applications
• Knowledge of Next.js or modern frontend architecture
• Infrastructure-as-Code (CDK, Terraform, etc.)
• Experience in customer support tech or event-driven systems
• Python scripting or backend services alongside JS stack
