Job Description:
We are seeking a Data Quality Analyst to join our Data Governance team. This role will partner closely with Data Operations team and play a critical role in ensuring data quality, integrity, and usability across our enterprise data ecosystem. This position will support initiatives around data validation, monitoring, profiling, and governance, enabling our organization to deliver trusted data products aligned with the “data as a product” model.
Responsibilities:
- Support initiatives driven by the office of the CDO.
- Design and implement data quality rules, metrics, and validation checks across enterprise data platforms.
- Analize disparate data sources to identify patterns and inconsistencies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data integrity issues.
- Provide root-cause analysis and drive remediation for recurring data quality issues.
- Align quality standards with enterprise governance policies
- Partner with clinical operations to analyze complex clinical data sets sourced from the following: EHRs, Practice Management systems, Registries, CMS, and Payers
Qualifications:
- 3 years’ hands-on experience working with healthcare data (EHR, PM, Payer Files, etc).
- 3 years’ experience writing SQL.
- Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses.
- Knowledge of dbt and data transformation workflows.
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar visualization tools.
- Excellent communication skills — ability to translate technical requirements into technical concepts
- Working within a sprint team using Jira to track tasks.
- Understanding of Change Management.
- Attention to detail and ability to spot subtle inconsistencies and errors that others may overlook.
- Must have strong analytic skills to investigate issues throughout a complex data pipeline using a wide variety of data technologies.
- Must have strong communication skills to communicate technical issues to non-technical audiences/stakeholders.
- Must have strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes and propose solutions.
- Understanding of statistical methods preferred.
- Make sure deliverables meet customer needs.
- Strong knowledge of data normalization techniques and best practices.
- Experience working on complex projects with multiple teams onshore and offshore.
- Understanding of OHDSI tools and OMOP database
