Data Analyst (Remote - US)

The Data Analyst will work with large-scale data, validate financial models, and create interactive dashboards to inform decision-making. • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and provide actionable recommendations
• Validate financial models, charts, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visual reports using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
• Perform data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure high-quality input for analytics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data governance, quality management, and reporting initiatives
• Conduct regular quality control checks on financial monitoring products and reports to maintain data integrity
• Prepare clear documentation of methodologies, findings, and presentations for stakeholders
• Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, and methodologies in data analysis to enhance capabilities

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of data analysis experience, preferably in the public sector or federal government environment
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis
• Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with meticulous attention to detail
• Effective communication skills, able to present complex insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• U.S. Citizenship is required; willingness to obtain a security clearance
