Job Summary

We’re looking for a sharp, creative, and strategic Senior Social Media Manager to lead and grow our clients’ social media presence across all major platforms. This person will play a integral role in content planning, community engagement, performance tracking, and collaboration across internal teams and client partners. This is a full-time remote position based out of Chicago.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies tailored to each client’s brand, audience, and objectives.
• Plan and manage monthly content calendars (paid and organic) across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Write engaging, brand-right copy for social posts, reels, stories, and ads.
• Coordinate creative production with in-house designers, copywriters, and external content creators.
• Monitor, manage, and grow social media communities through proactive engagement.
• Track performance metrics, optimize content, and deliver monthly reporting with actionable insights.
• Stay on top of industry trends, platform updates, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
• Collaborate with media and account teams to align social efforts with broader campaign initiatives.
• Support new business pitches and social strategy development.

Requirements

• Must be based out of Chicago or surrounding suburbs.
• 3+ years of social media experience, ideally within an agency or multi-brand environment.
• Demonstrated success growing social media accounts and delivering measurable results.
• Strong writing skills with a knack for brand voice, trends, and storytelling.
• Hands-on experience with social scheduling, listening, and analytics tools (e.g., Later, Sprout, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite).
• Comfortable presenting ideas and results to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Bonus: Experience with paid social, influencer outreach, or content creation.
