Your Mission:

Assures the company meets its development goals throughout the assigned area through managing the development of quality, profitable new restaurants, and the transformational upgrading of existing restaurants. Maintain a comprehensive development plan for respective territory and work with senior leadership on new development opportunities in assigned markets to ensure growth of market share.

This person can be based in the Midwest and will support markets across Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Responsible for meeting the annual development goals determined for the region with timely new store openings and accurate forecasting and risk assessment.
  • Act as a single point of contact for franchise development related activity in territory. Build relationships with franchises to influence development commitment against market plans. Support ongoing development results aligned with those plans.
  • Build and maintain relationships within the real estate, brokerage, and developer community.
  • Maintain a stable in-field presence and regular touch with franchisees and other key partners to identify new traditional and non-traditional development and relocation opportunities
  • Collaborate with Franchise Sales in the assessment, planning and execution of strategic market plans that drive key strategies and results.
  • Manage, support and ownership of all phases of the franchise development process inclusive of market plan, site selection, approval & lease negotiation. Guide & train franchisees process fundamentals of site selection, lease negotiation and construction.
  • Review Site Evaluation Forms (SEF). Assure the site and lease terms proposed meet the company criteria
  • Source real estate opportunities, substantially meeting our preferred site criteria to present to franchisees or corporately develop.
  • Utilize project management processes to develop and maintain a pipeline of projects, track progress against milestones, and effectively communicate progress reporting and results.
  • Support Closure Mitigation efforts through negotiation and asset replacement initiatives in maintaining brand sustainability

Who You Are:

  • Source and drive development of non-traditional opportunities, including government, education, business, airports, gas convenience, and other venues
  • Monitor the ongoing progression of construction projects and maintain consistent communication with region leaders holding responsibility of development goals.The position closely partners with Construction Managers (CM), Franchise services and franchisees to ensure the successful timing of the opening of the restaurant.
  • Responsible for management reporting, analytics, scheduling and proactive communication.
  • Attend trade conferences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business or related discipline. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of market planning, real estate, development related experience with demonstrated organizational impact and increasing responsibility in related areas. Experience in franchise, multi-unit restaurant/retail industry preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in essential skills and commercial real estate knowledge required to perform the Real Estate Manager role, including trade area analysis, site selection, deal negotiation, lease review, multi-unit development, networking, contract management, and project management, among other skills.
  • Ability to efficiently manage workload with shifting priorities. Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent project simultaneously with a results-driven approach.
  • Self-starter with strong communication skills, an ability to drive results, to think and act strategically, and to lead with confidence and tempo
  • Evidence of ability to establish and maintain relationships.
  • Highly developed verbal, written and presentation communication skills with the ability to communicate with a wide variety of audiences.
  • Must be a strong collaborator with ability to gain alignment and manage difficult conversations across a diverse representation of people and varying perspectives
  • Evidence of strong analytical, problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound business judgements.
  • Strong system/technical skills, experience and proficiency with industry standard mapping and analytic software, Smartsheet, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is a plus.
  • 75% in-field presence and adhere to the company travel policy

Where You’ll Work:

  • Remote/home Office Based Position
  • Evaluation of potential Little Caesars sites require site visitations, at times, outside of normal working hours (early morning, evening and occasional weekend site visitations)
  • Works in a normal office environment where there is no physical discomfort due to temperature, noise, dust, and the like Exposure to site conditions.
  • This position may require working extended hours, weekends or holidays.
  • This position may require lifting more than average weight (25 + lbs).
