Director, Supply Chain Operations (Remote – U.S.)Position Overview

The Director of Supply Chain Operations is responsible for leading end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution across procurement, logistics, inventory planning, and distribution. This role focuses on building scalable processes, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring reliable product flow across the organization in a remote-first environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead overall supply chain operations, including planning, sourcing, logistics, and fulfillment
  • Develop and optimize supply chain strategies to support business growth and operational scalability
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure consistent performance across suppliers and partners
  • Oversee demand planning, inventory management, and forecasting accuracy
  • Identify process gaps and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce cost-to-serve
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and product
  • Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to monitor supply chain performance
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Support digital transformation initiatives across supply chain systems and tools

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 8–12+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations leadership roles
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and global logistics
  • Proven experience managing vendor ecosystems and complex operational workflows
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong leadership experience with distributed or remote teams
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and supply chain planning tools
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
