About Our Client Michael Page is pleased to partner exclusively with a purpose driven organisation and are seeking a Payroll Project Specialist. You'll play a key role in supporting payroll remediation activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and improvements in processes and systems. This role is offered on a remote basis, providing flexibility while contributing to meaningful transformation work. Job Description

• Assisting with the finalisation and validation of long service leave entitlements.
• Supporting remediation activities, including correction of balances and back payment processing.
• Preparing reports, data, and recommendations for payroll and system managers.
• Contributing to payroll compliance initiatives and supporting Fair Work / Industrial Relations requirements.
• Assisting with process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in payroll operations.
• Working within project frameworks (PMO) to ensure successful delivery of payroll transformation initiatives.
• Collaborating across HR and Payroll projects to ensure end-to-end service delivery.

The Successful Applicant

• Proven experience in payroll projects, ideally in remediation, compliance, or leave management.
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems, entitlements, and Australian legislation.
• Experience working in project environments, including reporting and documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work remotely while collaborating effectively with key stakeholders.
