Special Events Officer (maternity cover)

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Special Events Officer (maternity cover) at Pratham UK. The role will involve event planning, communication with stakeholders, providing excellent customer service, managing events, and budgeting for special events. Events include a Gala Dinner in November at the V&A and a 30th Anniversary Celebration at the House of Lords in September. The contract will be until 30th June 2026. The role will pay £26-30k depending on experience.

Qualifications/Experience

• Event Planning and Event Management skills
• Effective Communication and Customer Service abilities
• Budgeting experience for events
• Experience in project management and logistics
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Knowledge of fundraising and donor relationships
• Previous experience in the non-profit sector is a plus
