Full Stack Developer

Part-Time Full-Stack Developer (AI & Creative Tech)

Commitment: 5 hrs/week, ongoing contract

Location: Remote (occasional EST availability preferred)

About the Role

We’re seeking a part-time full-stack developer to help maintain and extend a next-generation creative platform for digital content creators. This platform blends real-time collaboration with AI-powered media generation. You’ll work closely with the founder and use AI-assisted coding tools to deliver small, high-impact features each week.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the creative workspace interface, ensuring smooth rendering and interaction.
• Integrate with external APIs to generate and manage creative assets.
• Implement secure asset storage and retrieval for projects.
• Collaborate with AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development.
• Write and maintain automated tests for new features.
• Contribute to clear, concise developer documentation.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and front-end frameworks. React + Vite experience is preferred.
• Solid understanding of backend services, APIs, and cloud-based databases.
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs (media, AI, or similar).
• Familiarity with authentication, file storage, and real-time data updates.
• Comfortable with Git-based workflows and collaborative development.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with creative/media tools or platforms.
• Familiarity with real-time collaboration or infinite canvas interfaces.
• Understanding of AI-assisted development workflows.
