About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our growing technology team. This role is ideal for early-career professionals or recent graduates looking to build experience in software testing and quality assurance.

You will work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure software products are reliable, functional, and meet high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute manual and, where applicable, automated tests on web or software applications
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
• Participate in requirement and design reviews to provide quality feedback
• Support regression, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Contribute to improving QA processes and testing practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and QA practices

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with testing tools and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
• Knowledge of programming or scripting for automated testing (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Selenium)
• Exposure to databases, APIs, or web technologies
• Internship or university projects in QA or software testing
