About the Role

We’re looking for a Part-Time Data Architect to design and guide scalable, secure, cloud-native data architectures for enterprise digital transformation projects. You’ll support initiatives across data platforms, AI/ML, GenAI, and application modernization, ensuring systems are optimized for analytics, governance, and AI readiness.

What You’ll Do

• Design cloud-native data architectures (lakes, warehouses, streaming pipelines).
• Provide architectural oversight across Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Databricks.
• Align data architecture with AI/ML and GenAI initiatives.
• Define data models, governance standards, and quality frameworks.
• Advise on tool selection, integrations, and metadata management.
• Guide teams on scalable ETL/ELT and data engineering best practices (Glue, Kafka, DBT, Spark).
• Support pre-sales for data and AI transformation projects.
• Optimize existing data platforms for performance and cost.

What You Bring

• 8+ years in data architecture; strong experience with cloud (preferably AWS).
• Expertise in data modeling, warehousing, and streaming.
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance.
• Experience enabling AI/ML or GenAI pipelines.
• Proficiency with Redshift, Snowflake, Glue, Airflow, Kafka, Spark, SQL/NoSQL.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Bonus Points

• AWS certifications (Data Analytics Specialty, Solutions Architect).
• Familiarity with MLOps/GenAI frameworks.
• Experience with public sector or regulated industries.
