Senior Europe Payroll Specialist

Key Responsibilities

1. Support payroll operations across multiple European countries, ensuring accurate data, timely delivery, and full compliance
2. Collaborate with internal departments including HR, Finance, Customer Success, Product, and Implementation to ensure smooth data and process flows
3. Communicate with external payroll vendors, monitor service quality, and drive issue resolution
4. Assist in pre-sales support by contributing to payroll solution design and client needs analysis
5. Participate in new country payroll implementation projects, including vendor onboarding, process configuration, and go-live support
6. Help develop and optimize standardized payroll processes and SOPs
7. Collect and analyze payroll data to support process improvement and employee experience
8. Support internal training initiatives to improve team and client understanding of payroll processes and systems
9. Actively contribute to Sailglobal’s expansion of payroll service capabilities into additional countries and regions

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
2. 4+ years of payroll operations experience across Europe, with a solid understanding of payroll compliance in at least two countries
3. Proficient in major payroll systems and software platforms; familiar with European payroll vendors
4. Experience participating in new country payroll launches or system implementations is preferred
5. Experience in pre-sales technical support or client-facing roles is a plus
6. Background in fast-growing companies or multi-country/multi-project collaboration is preferred
7. Remote work experience is a plus
8. Strong communication skills in English (additional European languages are a plus)
9. High attention to detail, clear logic, and ability to maintain high execution standards in fast-paced, multitasking environments
