About the Role

Monaco Solicitors is a UK law firm that acts exclusively for employees. This role will own how the firm performs in organic search, covering technical health, content visibility, rankings, backlinks, competitor positioning, attribution, and reporting. You'll report to the Marketing Manager and work closely with the content editor in a fully remote team.


Responsibilities

  • Own organic search across technical health, content performance, rankings, measurement, and reporting
  • Run site audits, fix technical issues, and build rank-tracking and attribution
  • Work with the editorial team to make existing and new content easier to find
  • Move agreed priority searches toward page-one positioning
  • Own off-page SEO, including authoritative backlink acquisition and digital PR
  • Monitor competitors, understand why they outrank the firm, and identify opportunities to close the gap
  • Report on outcomes from organic traffic through to enquiries


Qualifications

  • Evidence of materially improving a website's organic performance, backed by numbers
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Search Console and GA4
  • Experience with SEO crawlers, rank trackers, and backlink/competitor tools
  • Technical SEO depth and strong content-SEO judgement
  • Demonstrable link-building and digital PR experience, including earned links
  • Strong competitor-analysis skills
  • Clear, plain-English communication
  • Comfort using AI in your workflow, with judgement about where it is and is not reliable
