VP of Marketing – High‑Growth SaaS | UK (Remote)

Our client is a rapidly scaling UK‑based SaaS company transforming how mid‑market organisations manage their financial operations. Their cloud‑native platform gives finance teams modern capabilities without the complexity of traditional enterprise systems, and they’re now entering a major period of expansion across multiple sectors.

As they continue their journey of accelerated growth, they are investing heavily in strengthening their go‑to‑market engine — starting with the appointment of a strategic and hands‑on VP of Marketing to lead the function through its next stage of scale.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the brand narrative of an emerging category leader. Reporting directly into the executive team, you’ll lead all areas of marketing across demand generation, brand, digital, content, product marketing and events.

You’ll be responsible for building a high‑performing, data‑driven growth engine, sharpening positioning in a competitive market, and driving measurable pipeline impact. You’ll also lead a multi‑disciplinary team and help embed a culture of creativity, experimentation and continuous improvement.

Growth & Demand

  • Build a scalable, predictable full‑funnel engine across inbound, outbound, digital and partner channels.
  • Drive measurable pipeline and revenue impact while improving channel efficiency.
  • Strengthen analytics, attribution and funnel visibility across the entire journey.

Brand & Positioning

  • Elevate the brand and define a clear, differentiated narrative within a crowded SaaS landscape.
  • Lead PR, communications, thought leadership and analyst engagement.
  • Enhance messaging frameworks, visual identity and market perception.

Product & Customer Marketing

  • Partner closely with Product to shape segmentation, positioning and personas.
  • Translate technical and AI‑driven capabilities into clear customer value stories.
  • Build customer advocacy programmes, events and case‑study engines that fuel pipeline and credibility.

Operational & Team Leadership

  • Scale a high‑performance marketing function grounded in data, ROI and commercial discipline.
  • Own metrics, reporting, forecasting and budget planning.
  • Develop, mentor and grow a diverse team across all marketing disciplines.

What We’re Looking For

  • 10–15+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, including leadership of cross‑functional teams.
  • Proven track record building full‑funnel demand engines in competitive markets.
  • Experience driving pipeline and revenue at scale-up or growth‑stage SaaS companies.
  • Strong commercial acumen — confident with metrics, modelling, forecasting and attribution.
  • Expertise across Product Marketing, Demand Gen, Brand, Digital and Communications.
  • Exceptional storytelling ability — able to simplify complex or AI‑driven capabilities into compelling customer narratives.
  • A hands‑on, resilient leader who thrives in fast‑paced, scaling environments.
