WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

The East Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading sales efforts across the East Coast territory, driving revenue growth, acquiring new customers, and supporting the overall development of the sales organization. This role requires a hands-on, results-driven leader who excels in both frontline sales and business development execution and coaching teams to achieve higher levels of performance.

  • Regional Sales Leadership – Lead, manage, and grow a high-performing regional sales team. This team includes several internal Sales Engineers along with Independent Reps. Identify and engage firms and partners to support regional objectives. Recruit, train, motivate, and coach team members to reach their full potential. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue goals. Conduct regular joint sales visits to support and develop the team. Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable for performance.
  • Sales & Business Development – Drive and surpass sales targets for motion control products. Execute strategic initiatives to grow market share and expand the customer base. Focus on key opportunities including new customer acquisition, major projects, and application development. Cultivate strong relationships with OEMs, end users, and distribution partners. Manage pipeline, forecasting, and account planning using CRM tools.
  • Operational Excellence – Use CRM, reporting tools, and sales technology to maximize sales performance. Collaborate closely with Inside Sales and other teams to ensure seamless operations. Maintain strategic oversight while delegating tactical tasks to the right teams, consistently delivering outstanding customer experiences.
  • Continuous Growth and Industry Engagement – Embrace a growth mindset by applying leadership tools and actively participating in industry networking events, trade associations, and roundtables to stay connected and promote ongoing professional development.
  • Travel – Visit customers to support their development and strengthen relationships

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • BS Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical), Industrial Technology, Business or Related Field Experience
  • 5+ years Motion Control experience is a plus
  • 5+ years Sales management experience is a plus which can include direct management and/or management of independent reps
