Full Stack Engineer

Role: Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack/.NET Developer) - (EL1 Level)

Location of work: All States

Length of contract: 12 months

Contract extensions: 24 months extension

Security clearance: Baseline security clearance

Essential Criteria:

• Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced agile delivery environment to produce high quality software using an enterprise toolset and delivery framework.
• The ability to communicate effectively in writing, in person and via video conferencing.
• Demonstrated application development experience working on either high-volume transactional systems and/or complex integrated systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a flair for creating innovative solutions.
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment and experience using Agile development toolsets.

Desirable Criteria:

Previous experience in a Government Agency is must, preferably the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations.

Experience with any of the following:

• C#, .NET Core, .NET 5,6,7,8, SQL, Vue3 and CA GEN or other object-oriented programming language
• Bash or PowerShell scripting
• Coding in R
• Experience with source control
• Unit / Automated UI testing
• Provisioning and managing cloud technology or infrastructure as code
• Experience provisioning Azure Data environments.
• Experience with Visual Studio 2019 / 2022, Visual Studio Code or Jetbrains Rider
• Microsoft Web API / REST Architecture
• D365 and PowerApps
• Modern software development utilising Microsoft Azure PaaS Services (App Service, Function App, APIM, Service Bus, Azure SQL)
• Modern JavaScript frameworks such as Typescript / JQuery.
• Reactive frontend frameworks including React, Vue or Angular
• CSS frameworks including Bootstrap
• CI/CD Practices
• SQL Server 2014 and later
