About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our central Data Science & Analytics team. In this role, you will be embedded within one of Jerry.ai’s core business units—such as growth marketing, product development, AI & automation, or strategic partnerships—and will be responsible for driving end-to-end analytical initiatives. Your primary focus will be to identify impactful business questions, develop insights through data analysis, and influence decision-making processes that support our ambitious goal of scaling from 5 million to 50 million customers and evolving into a $10 billion company within the next four years. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-impact projects, shape strategic initiatives, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable results.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in a consulting firm, investment bank, or high-growth technology company
- Proficiency in SQL (preferably Clickhouse) and Python for data analysis and modeling
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently structure, interpret, and visualize data
- Experience owning ambiguous problems and delivering impactful solutions
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders
- Proven track record of driving initiatives that lead to tangible business outcomes
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Metabase or similar platforms
- Experience with version control tools such as GitHub
- Embed within a specific business unit to understand its strategic priorities and operational challenges
- Define relevant business questions and develop hypotheses to guide analyses
- Collect, structure, and analyze data to generate actionable insights
- Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and measure impact
- Create reports and dashboards to communicate findings clearly and effectively
- Collaborate with product, growth, finance, and operations teams to translate insights into strategic actions
- Drive continuous improvement by refining analytical models and processes
- Influence decision-making at all levels by presenting compelling data-driven narratives
