📍 Location: Remote (with some travel to QLD)

We’re looking for a sharp, proactive Finance & Contracts Lead to help drive impact across Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities through strategic funding and procurement coordination.

This isn’t your typical finance role—it’s an opportunity to lead the financial backbone of community health programs that make a real difference. You'll work remotely with a collaborative, purpose-driven team while ensuring funding streams, contracts, and procurement are managed with precision and accountability.

🔍 Your Day-to-Day Will Include

• Leading the coordination of funding agreements, grants, and supplier contracts
• Managing budgets, financial reporting, and funding body obligations
• Tracking procurement and funding-related compliance using Asana or similar systems
• Identifying new funding opportunities to strengthen service delivery
• Supporting internal teams to align operations with contract and financial performance
• Ensuring Medicare billing/reporting accuracy (where applicable)

🧠 What You’ll Bring

• Qualifications (or working towards) in Accounting or Finance
• Proven experience managing funding, grants, procurement, and reporting
• Deep understanding of government funding and compliance frameworks
• Strong skills using project tools (e.g., Asana)
• Confidence liaising with funders and managing financial deadlines
• A respectful understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
• Willingness to travel to regional QLD when required

✅ Bonus Points For

• Experience working in Indigenous health, ACCHOs, or community-based services
• Familiarity with medicare processes and health-sector financial compliance
