š£ We're hiring: Part-Time or Contract HR Consultant (Remote | Flexible Hours)
Team Success Lab is growing ā and weāre on the lookout for a sharp, reliable HR Consultant or Business Partner to support our delivery across some of Australia's most exciting scale-ups in tech, health, and creative industries. We are looking for support 2 days per week initially (flexibly spread over the week to suit your schedule).
We provide P&C/HR advice for clients across Australia and New Zealand and build high-impact, implementation-ready HR frameworks at pace ā from job levelling and capability mapping to policies, performance tools, and organisational design. To keep things moving, manage our growing portfolio and maintain quality, weāre looking for experienced delivery support that can jump in, get started quickly, and provide exceptional service to our expanding client base.
This is not an admin role. Itās hands-on, delivery-focused work that requires HR capability, initiative, and a strong working knowledge of Australian/NZ employment frameworks.
š What you'll be doing
Each week can be different, but you'll work across:
- Drafting HR policies (based on Fair Work / NZ legislation)
- Award interpretation and benchmarking
- Building out job levelling or capability frameworks
- Supporting org design and implementation planning
- Creating engagement surveys, performance review tools, or PDs
- Researching incentive models and formatting proposals
- Following up with clients and nudging delivery forward
š§ About you
You might be:
- A former in-house HR Advisor or BP now freelancing
- A part-time HR pro returning to work
- An offshore consultant with solid experience supporting Australian clients
What matters most is that you:
- Have 3ā7 yearsā generalist HR experience, including policy, org design, and compliance
- Know your way around Modern Awards and AU/NZ employment legislation
- Have experience with HRIS systems - Hibob preferred
- Can take a brief, run with it, and deliver with care and precision
- Are commercially savvy ā you know how to right-size a solution for a scaling business
- Are happy to work flexibly (and asynchronously if needed)
