· Working with senior designers to learn best practices and improve your skills.
About you
Our values are critical to delighting our clients and to our success. We have three core values we expect you to demonstrate and support in what you do and how you do it: working together; doing the right thing; delivering with creativity and passion.
Your attitude is as important as your experience, along with a willingness to learn.
To deliver well, we’re looking for someone who has:
· Basic skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, including working with templates and layouts.
· Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, with some experience across the Adobe suite.
· Experience creating 2D images and vector graphics for web/digital use.
· The ability to design simple reports, guides, and brochures, mainly for digital use.
· An understanding of RGB/CMYK colour modes.
· A methodical approach to file organisation and structuring.
· The ability to simplify information through visuals.
· Experience sourcing and editing stock images/vector graphics.
· A willingness to learn how to visualise design briefs and develop concepts for stakeholder feedback.
· Good time management and organisational skills.
· The ability to work as part of a team and take direction from senior colleagues.
· A proactive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.
· Self-motivation to work from home and communicate virtually.
Desirable but not essential:
· Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
· Experience in an agency or studio environment.
· Familiarity with version control.
· Willingness to explore AI-assisted design tools or emerging tech.
What we offer
Because we embrace the opportunities from the technology we help roll out, we have flexible working patterns to fit in with your travel, families, personal development and other activities. We think this helps our team be the fully rounded experts our clients need.
Alongside generous pay, we try to create a learning and social environment. So while we have a working-from-anywhere set up, you will feel connected and supported.
We give you company leave between Christmas and New Year, monthly staff recognition rewards, contributory pension, private medical care, death-in-service cover and support for your learning and development.
Our support for employees under the WeCare scheme offers a range of benefits, including access to legal advice and online GP appointments. Some of our team are trained mental health first aiders and we’re always reviewing how we support people’s wellbeing.
On top of your salary, we offer referral fees to employees and contractors. We also consider ways to support our team as situations arise – for example we offer paid jury service of up to ten working days.
Our clients depend on our people, and our people should be able to depend on us; as we grow, we continually assess the package we offer.
