Financial Controller | SaaS | Interim Contract | $200K - $240K package range / equivalent day rate

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a high-growth SaaS company as Interim Financial Controller during a key transitional phase. Well-established and backed by PE investors, the business is seeking an experienced and technically capable leader to provide stability and expertise across the finance function.

Reporting to the CFO and leading a geographically dispersed accounting team, this role will oversee day-to-day financial operations and improve month-end processes in a Netsuite environment.

The Opportunity

This role will play a pivotal part in shaping the finance function, with responsibilities including:

• Providing leadership and day to day management to a geographically dispersed finance team across Australia, the US, and Asia
• Managing core financial operations, including month-end close, reconciliations, and compliance obligations
• Enhancing systems and processes, with a focus on optimising NetSuite
• Coordinating audit readiness and working closely with US-based external advisors
• Contributing to enhanced reporting
• Partnering with the FP&A team on cash flow forecasting and planning
• Taking ownership of special projects and initiatives as directed by the CFO

The Expertise

The ideal candidate will have:

• CA/CPA qualification with relevant Financial Control experience
• Experience in a SaaS company and with Netsuite are non-negotiables
• Ability to get into the detail and enhance month-end processes
• Strong leadership capability and comfort in managing remote teams
• A hands-on approach, willingness to get into the detail
