Remote Social Media Manager – Entry Role

This role is ideal for a social media marketing professional who excels at both hands-on campaign management and knowledge transfer. You will collaborate directly with an experienced event management consultant to develop, implement, and optimize paid advertising campaigns—primarily on Meta platforms—while also providing practical, step-by-step training. The focus is on empowering the client to independently manage their own social media and advertising in the future. Deliverables

• Set up, manage, and optimize paid social media advertising campaigns, with a focus on Meta platforms.
• Schedule, publish, and monitor content across multiple social media channels.
• Provide clear, actionable guidance and best practices for campaign management and content strategy.
• Develop easy-to-follow documentation and walkthroughs for ongoing reference.
• Offer real-time feedback and support to build the client’s confidence and skills in social media marketing.
• Track and report on campaign performance, suggesting improvements and adjustments as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in social media marketing, especially with Meta Ads and multi-platform content scheduling.
• Strong ability to teach, mentor, and communicate complex concepts in a clear, accessible manner.
• Up-to-date knowledge of social media trends, analytics, and best practices.
• Experience working with clients in the events, hospitality, or experiential marketing sectors is a plus.
• Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a training-focused approach.
• Availability for remote collaboration and flexible scheduling.
