Social Media Manager – Tech Startup

As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy from the ground up. • Develop and implement a cohesive organic social media strategy tailored to the startup’s goals and target audience
• Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across key platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook)
• Build and manage the brand’s online community, responding to comments and messages to foster engagement
• Monitor social media trends, analytics, and competitor activity to inform content and strategy adjustments
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align messaging and support broader marketing initiatives
• Track and report on key performance metrics to measure growth and engagement

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts, ideally for startups or tech-focused brands
• Strong understanding of organic social media best practices and platform algorithms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative approach to content creation
• Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later)

• Based in New York or available to work remotely with flexible hours
