Video Editor - Freelance (Remote)

This project-based remote role is ideal for a skilled video editor with a passion for storytelling and digital content creation. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished short- and long-form videos for online platforms, collaborating closely with a production team to deliver high-quality results. • Edit and assemble raw video footage into compelling short- and long-form content for digital platforms
• Develop storyboards and visual concepts to enhance narrative flow
• Integrate graphics, animations, and motion graphics as needed
• Enhance video and audio quality, including color correction and sound design
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure creative vision and project goals are met
• Deliver final video assets in required formats and specifications within set deadlines

Requirements

• Proven experience in digital video editing and post-production
• Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop
• Strong storytelling skills and a keen eye for visual composition
• Experience creating graphics and animations for video content
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with motion graphics is a plus
• Must be based in Canada or the USA
• Availability for a single project with potential for future work
