Solutions Architect

Solutions Architect£500-550 per day, Outside IR35Initially 3-6 MonthsFully Remote (Must be based in the UK)

Our Public Sector client is going through a large digital transformation, and they are looking to engage the services of an experienced Solutions Architect to support them on the next phase of their journey.

Brief:

Initially understand their environment to write the detail within their topology for DLLs, APIs and scripts. Then design a potential solution to support their current environment changing old to new applications likely to be going from PaaS within Azure to SaaS. Experience with HR / Payroll implementations will be useful for future projects.

Public Sector experience is essential, as is first class communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Also, having the ability to lead workshops and conduct interviews etc.

Personal Skills:

First class design skills including the ability to draw up accurate specifications that can be effectively utilised by development teams.

Architecture design and modelling techniques, tools, and standards.

Experience of shaping and supporting technology initiatives, projects, programmes, and portfolios.

Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and experience of modelling with enterprise architecture tools.

Track record of delivering an architecture service and technology solutions for a range of business problems of varying scale and complexity.

Cloud platform and architectures – one or more of Azure, AWS, Google Cloud platforms including PaaS and SaaS solutions.

Practical experience of automation technologies – e.g. AI, Machine Learning, Bot Technologies, Process Automation.

Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.

Broad understanding of key technologies, including APIs, Microservices, and mobile applications.

Experience of modern Enterprise SaaS/Cloud platforms, applications, and services used by Social Housing organisations would be desirable.

C#, Node.js, .Net, SQL server and API design

Expertise in defining end-to-end solutions based around web services, APIs, and Cloud platforms.

Public cloud technologies, cloud hosting and networking design tools, and best practices.

Design and delivery experience with one or more or more IOT technologies.

Any relevant certification such as TOGAF 9.
