About The Role Samsara is seeking a highly adaptable, motivated, and execution-oriented Executive Assistant to support our Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO). This role requires a proactive professional capable of managing complex schedules, coordinating global travel, and ensuring the seamless operation of executive offices. The Executive Assistant will report directly to the Executive Business Partner, working closely to facilitate high-level meetings, strategic initiatives, and operational excellence. The role demands someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-demand environments, with a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to anticipate needs and execute tasks with speed and precision. This position is remote but based in the San Francisco Bay Area, offering flexibility and the chance to be integral to Samsara’s leadership team. The ideal candidate will be a high performer—calm under pressure, resourceful, and eager to contribute to a company that values growth, innovation, and a customer-centric approach. Key responsibilities include managing executive calendars, coordinating global travel and expenses, supporting high-priority communications, and driving operational excellence in meetings and company events. The role also involves acting as a trusted proxy for executives, representing them professionally in various interactions, and providing on-site support when necessary. Occasional travel up to 20% may be required to support off-sites, customer meetings, or corporate events. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience
  • At least 2+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior executives
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Proven success in fast-paced, high-demand environments
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Outstanding communication skills with near-instant responsiveness across Slack, email, and other channels
  • High emotional intelligence, resilience, and impeccable judgment with sensitive information
  • Flexibility to adjust working hours to accommodate different time zones
  • Proficiency with G-Suite, Slack, Zoom, Expensify, and related tools
  • Resourcefulness, proactive attitude, and motivation to contribute at a high level

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Executive Business Partner to support the CRO and COO effectively
  • Manage and optimize complex, dynamic calendars, including scheduling meetings and coordinating global travel arrangements
  • Handle high-priority communications, including email, Slack, and phone calls, ensuring timely responses
  • Provide high-quality execution on ad hoc projects and requests, demonstrating flexibility and initiative
  • Drive operational excellence in staff meetings, off-sites, and leadership events, ensuring smooth execution
  • Act as a trusted representative for executives, maintaining professionalism and confidence in all interactions
  • Support on-site activities at the San Francisco headquarters as needed
  • Occasionally travel (up to 20%) to assist with off-site meetings, customer engagements, or company events
  • Assist with additional responsibilities and special projects as directed by leadership
  • Embed and promote Samsara’s cultural principles, including customer success, long-term building, growth mindset, inclusion, and teamwork, as the company scales globally
