Front-End UI/UX Developer & Designer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End UI/UX Developer who combines cutting-edge development expertise with strong design sensibility. You will be responsible for designing and building engaging, responsive, and visually stunning web interfaces that deliver exceptional user experiences. This role bridges design and engineering—you’ll turn concepts into designs and transform designs into scalable, pixel-perfect, and performant front-end applications.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign Ownership

• Lead the end-to-end design process: user research, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity UI design.
• Develop and maintain a cohesive design system and style guide.
• Conduct usability testing and translate insights into product improvements.
• Ensure designs align with brand identity and deliver a consistent user experience.

Development

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and back-end engineers to translate wireframes and prototypes into high-quality code.
• Develop responsive and accessible interfaces using modern front-end frameworks.
• Create and maintain reusable components, design systems, and UI libraries.
• Ensure high performance across devices and browsers.
• Contribute to UX decisions, advocating for user-first solutions and best practices.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging front-end technologies.

Required Skills & Experience

• Front-End Development: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript.
• Frameworks: Deep experience with React, Vue.js, or Angular (React preferred).
• Styling & State Management: Experience with Tailwind CSS, Sass, Redux, Zustand, or similar tools.
• Strong foundation in UI design, typography, color theory, and layout.
• Design Tools: Skilled in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar for UI/UX design.
• UX Principles: Strong understanding of usability, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design.
• Performance Optimization: Ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Collaboration: Experience working in agile teams with Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines.

Nice-to-Haves

• Knowledge of Next.js, Nuxt.js, or SvelteKit.
• Familiarity with motion/animation libraries (Framer Motion, GSAP, Lottie).
• Background in graphic design, branding, or product design.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or headless CMS integrations.

Type: Full-time, 4-6 Month Contract

Rate: $40
