We’re searching for a Project Manager IV for our healthcare client. In this role, you’ll lead large-scale, highly complex initiatives tied to a core business mission, overseeing scope, budget, timelines, risk, and delivery across multiple concurrent projects.
This is a senior-level opportunity for an experienced project or program leader who has successfully driven enterprise-scale work and thrives in matrixed environments.
This role will support project management for an ongoing risk adjustment initiative and may also contribute to additional work across government health programs. The ideal candidate brings familiarity with risk adjustment (including RADV), experience operating in highly regulated healthcare environments such as Medicare, and a background in strategy consulting or equivalent advisory roles within complex organizations.

As Project Manager IV, you will:
- Lead large, enterprise-scale projects or multiple related initiatives aligned to a single mission or business theme
- Own end-to-end delivery including scope, direction, benefits, budget, timing, and risk management
- Oversee and coordinate the work of multiple project managers on complex programs
- Partner proactively with business sponsors and stakeholders to identify needs and implement solutions
- Establish clear deliverables, milestones, and accountability for project teams
- Manage budgets, timelines, requirements, and variances across large initiatives
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project and program risks, including contingency planning
- Apply appropriate project and software development lifecycles based on the work
- Operate effectively within a matrixed organization and across multiple support disciplines
- Use enterprise project management tools such as Smartsheet and Jira
- Communicate clearly and effectively with technical teams, business partners, and leadership
Who we’re searching for / About you:
- 10+ years of progressive project and program management experience
- Demonstrated leadership on large-scale initiatives ($10M+ budgets, teams of 75+ people)
- Deep expertise in project management methodologies and tools
- Strong experience with budgeting, change management, stakeholder management, and risk management
- Proven success delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- Experience working across multiple project and software development lifecycles
- Strong problem-solving, facilitation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to influence, align priorities, and build consensus across teams and leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred\
- Familiarity with risk adjustment programs, including RADV
- Experience working within regulated healthcare environments (e.g., Medicare, government health programs)
- Background in strategy consulting or equivalent experience in an advisory, transformation, or enterprise strategy role
- Ability to operate effectively across ambiguity, compliance-driven requirements, and executive stakeholders
Logistics:
- Location: Remote, but candidates must reside in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, or Utah
- Schedule: Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, or overtime when business needs require
- Equipment: Company-provided equipment
- Internet Requirement: Cable, DSL, or fiber only (satellite or mobile hotspots not supported)
- Contract Type: Temporary contract with potential to convert to full-time (conversion not guaranteed)
